The highlights

Fresh from an exhausting trip around the halls of Masion & Objet at the Paris-Nord Villepinte exhibition centre our design team share some of their favourite highlights. The trade show brought together market leaders and emerging talents from the international creative professions working in the fields of interior design, product design, interior architecture, art of living and home styling.

Our team focused a lot of their attention in hall 7 & 8 where the “scènes d’intérieur” was showcased along with “now! design à vivre”. There was a noticable trend with a nod towards retro 50’s and a little Scandinavian feel even from the Italians. Notable here with this simple-yet stunning Onkel sofa from the Danish company Normann Copenhagen designed by Simon Legald.

One of Design by UBER’s firm favourite fixes is always the DK Home stand. On show are a new range of finishes to add to their natural including this shell and below is the beautiful Stingray Table.

One of the UK company representations was the upmarket outdoor furniture company Gloster, unveiling new ranges for the first time.
