Autumn Interior News

October was another busy month for us at UBER, as we have been working on a number of exciting commercial and residential projects throughout the UK.

We thought it would be nice to share some insight, to see what we’ve been up to at UBER HQ so that you can enjoy following our projects from the initial concepts right through to completion.

Below is just one of the moodboards from a new and exciting commercial project that we are currently working on.

This fast-paced project consists of the complete renovation of the ground floor space of an incredibly unique and lavish five-star hotel.

We are completely transforming the key exterior aspects of the hotel, the entrance, the lobby, the washrooms and the two restaurants and bars!

The two separate restaurant spaces will have a distinct contrast in offerings and atmosphere, therefore giving guests the opportunity to enjoy two completely different dining experiences during their stay.

The concept of this restaurant is based around bringing an artisan food offering into an environment that fuses the inside and outside spaces and all of the flora and fauna of the beautiful courtyard setting. A gin trolley entices guests with candied fruit and explosive botanicals and completes this lavish feast for the eyes and senses. The feature coffee bar will transform into a cocktail bar and a live cooking station by night. Guests can choose to sit outside, on one of the informal sofa arrangements or in the booth seating situated under an indoor tree. The tree installation will be dressed in foliage and small lights that illuminate as day turns to night.

Here’s a sneak peak of a recent project where we transformed our clients open plan kitchen, dining and living space. We chose a sophisticated neutral colour palette and luxurious, yet durable materials for the bespoke seating areas.

We’ve actually had a flurry of requests in the last few weeks for dining space transformations. It seems like everyone wants to ensure their homes are show-stopping this Christmas!

Our moodboards show inspirational imagery for the proposed entertainment suite in the basement of our client’s new build property.

“There will be a noticeable change in mood when entering the space, in contrast to our designs for the rest of our clients home. These will be  facilitated by darker tones and more specialist finishes, with mood and accent lighting.

The space itself will be made up of various different zones that come together to define the entertainment space. These zones will include a games area, bar, wine room and tasting table as well as snug/TV zone.”

We can’t wait to share more developments from this new and exciting project with you!

We’ve had a great couple of days shooting at one of our recently completed projects.

A new build, contemporary super-prime property located in a charming rural setting in the rolling countryside of the North of England. Our client came to us at the very early stages ensuring that, by working closely with Calderpeel Architects, we were fully involved with the space planning. They also commissioned a full design of the interior of this house involving everything from floor and wall coverings down to the minutest details. Our client had no specific preconceptions about style, their feeling was that the house itself should dictate the style. This made it a very exciting project for us as we were able to give free rein to the creative process and create living spaces that were a seamless extension of the property’s form and environment.
