We are thrilled to announce that our beautiful private residential project Woodacre is shortlisted for two awards. One being ‘Best Kitchen Design Over £150,000’ as well as ‘Project Value £1-2.5 Million’ in The International Design & Architecture Awards 2024!
So what is the International Design & Architecture Awards?
The International Design & Architecture Awards is an annual competition that honour’s the top companies and designers in the interior design and architecture industries. The awards are hosted by the leading interior design magazine design et al and have been held for more than 14 years. The awards are considered fair and objective, with the lucky winners chosen by the industry itself.
Best Kitchen Design Over £150,000
Focal Point
Located in Woodacre’s newly constructed extension, the open plan kitchen and lounge area flows on from the main house. We chose to incorporate traditional elements that run throughout the rest of the home to create fluidity from area to area. As a result, this created an overall modern twist.

This space features the beautiful Officine Gullo oven range which is incorporated into stained oak cabinetry. We also implemented an oversized feature extractor canopy which hangs proudly above the large kitchen island, adding a wonderful focal point to the room.

Project Value £1-2.5 Million
Balance
Designed with style and functionality in mind. This temperature-controlled wine room proudly displays over two hundred bottles. Overall it is the perfect centre piece for entertaining.
The cabinetry consists of two timbers. The front face is a light walnut and the inner carcass that lines each section are a beautiful dark oak. A stepped vertical pier detail with inset metal trim frames each section we also incorporated the same detail to the plinth.
Solid marble sits on the counter tops, each individual shelf has a patinated brass frame with inset leather wrapped bases. We also integrated a solid brass strip detail to hold each individual bottle in place.
