Background
This is an exciting opportunity to work within a small, driven and friendly company in the luxury interior retail sector. The role is to market the products and services of an award-winning UK family-run business and ultimately increase market share and in turn turnover.
We’re looking for someone who has a passion for design and can articulate well constructed written English to an exacting standard. Based in our indulgent Cheshire showroom you will be working for the Technology & Marketing Director along with direct input from Sales & Marketing. The role requires an enthusiastic individual who can simultaneously take the initiative for the Marketing production output, and identify new opportunities acting on them whilst analysing results as they go. An interest in interior design or luxury retail would be beneficial.
Contract type: full time – Permanent 5-days pw, or flexi-days pro rata considered
Remuneration: £Salary TBN based on experience
About the role
- Bringing the story of Design by UBER and UBER Interiors to life to drive leads and sales through a wide range of online & offline marketing and multimedia content formats, including copywriting, videography, photography, and animation (among others).
- Working alongside the Director of Marketing & Technology, the role will be the go-to contact and guardian across the business for all things social – from content ideation to reporting back on performance
- Owning the day-to-day community management of Design by UBER & UBER Interiors’ website content and social media channels, including posting and responding to public comments, social advertising creation and reporting
- Working with relevant internal stakeholders, external service companies to envisage, create and deliver engaging and overarching social media channel and content strategies as well as specific strategies for each business and promotion.
- Uphold strong brand consistency across all channels
- Based at our headquarters in Knutsford, Cheshire and occasional on-site locations
Frequent tasks
- Using and constructing communications on social media such as Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Google+, YouTube and others
- Planning with management and creating website content articles and email campaigns and initiating journalistic-style reviews, event reports and interviews.
- To help analyse and deliver effective new directions and marketing opportunities, local and global
- Researching and maintaining a database of contacts and lead opportunities
- Writing press releases and proactive pitching to editorial targets
- Dealing with press requests and marketing enquiries
- Ad-hoc admin and showroom duties
You are/have…
- Passionate about social marketing
- Creative with strong copywriting, photography and video editing skills
- Ability to forge strong relationships with key stakeholders, internal and external
- Fluent and impeccable English communication proficiency
- An ability to write appropriate copy to appeal to a high-end audience as well as adhere to SEO practices and company guidelines

- Impeccable attention to detail and accuracy – plus proof-reading skills
- Knowledge and experience of Luxury Retail essential

Key Experience & Attributes Include
- 3+ years’ experience working for a luxury sector, preferably Design & Build sector.
- Digital/social media platform editing and scheduling skills
- Possess an in-depth understanding of Photoshop, MS Office and a quick learner with creative software and AI tools.
- Strong knowledge of IT software: Excel, Word, Outlook, Web Browsers and ideally Photoshop, Database experience
- ATL (excluding TV and Radio), TTL and BTL advertising and marketing content construction experience
- Based at our showroom in Knutsford, Cheshire
